Origin
He was born in Thanalan, his family runs a small restaurant.He grows up with his cousins, his little brother have the same name and almost look identical.He never were the smartest or fastest, he's a pretty strong and loving boy that always try what he can to help his family and take care of his cousins, his little brother and sister.

Life choice
As the first-born of the family, he did a wonderful job as a big brother and son, but the world doesn't change because you have a good heart.Because their food is good and cheap they do make quite a bit of money and targeted by the a small group of gang.After a few payments of "protection". One day a few Brass Blade guards that just drafted here decide to dine in his family's restaurant and learned about all this.They're all young man, their blood crave for action,so together they planned an ambush.Edward at that time just turned into a teenager but he also took place in that fight, eventually they won,members of the gang is either killed or arrested, and then there's celebration.Edward and the young guards quickly became friends and he decides to join the Brass Blades to become a guard in the future, to protect other people.Which he did.

Realization
After he joined the Brass Blades when he turned adult, at first it was all great, he get to be with his friends, protect the honest and hard working people……but the world is never black and white as the young man thought.There are times when he got held back by his brothers in arm, there's also when it's just simply can't defy right or wrong on both sides.Eventually despite some of his brothers in arm is doing the best they could he still disappointed in Brass Blades realize the nature of the organization is just sellswords , they're not about protect and maintain the order rather just do whatever they told to get paid, he retired after five years of services.He still have close relationship with his brothers in arm, they're are still close friends.And then he realized he never actually see how the world is, even Thanalan, the place he was born and raised, he knows very little of it.So he bid farewell with his family and friends decided to go on a journey, one of his childhood friend is a blacksmith crafts a suit of armor and a pair of sword and shield for him.And thus his journey began.

1, He is 30 by now.2, He actually cook pretty good.3, He have a big journal that documents his journey sights he saw, cultures he experienced, food he tasted and recipes, animals and plants, basically a Wikipedia by his knowledge. His hand writing is good, but his drawings is more like doodles of a child.4, His childhood friend Blacksmith is now quite famous in Uldah, everytime he sends his armor and weapons back for repair they become better and tougher, but the scar remains, is because the two of them think it looks cool.5, He made all kinds of friends around just almost everywhere, but he never make deals with someone who is a terrible person.6, He actually cares a lot about personal hygiene and grooming.7, Since he always protected by his armor and helmets, his skin is actually pretty smooth and tender like a noble man.8, He doesn't take off his helmet because when he was young he get mock and teased about how he looks, even today he looks too young for his actual age.9, He can't drink, he worries too much what if his drunk, and he doesn't like the bitterness of ale.10, He's quite polite for most of the time, until he sees unjust things or someone who is rude.Bonus: the world isn't black and white, and so does him, sometimes he won't act like you thought he would or do things a different way, you can't really define a person by what other said, people change,remember?See with your own eyes.
